DAILY ROUTINE: 8 USEFUL TIPS FOR MAINTAINING HEALTH, FITNESS AND BEAUTY
The pandemic forces us into quarantine yet again, but as we already experienced similar circumstances in 2020, we should be prepared and spend this time more consciously. With beauty salons temporarily closed, our daily skincare routine suddenly becomes more important, and even though it is necessary to take care of your skin, you should also find time for health and fitness, and taking care of the beauty within, so we gathered some useful tips to help you with that:
Have structure in your days
The biggest challenge is keeping order. It is necessary to map out your days, so that they do not melt away. We do have a lot of extra time on our hands, but often times we are simply incapable of efficiently utilizing it. Wake up in time, dress up, have a proper breakfast, lunch and supper and try not to stare at your screen after work.
Plan ahead
Even though there might be less to do and fewer places to go to, you still need to make plans. Write to do lists, try meal planning and do outdoor activities each day.
Save some time for yourself
We know that days can pass without even thinking about self-care, but try to stay conscious about that. Have some time each day for yourself to relax and recharge, listen to your favorite album, find a new series or a good movie or set up an online meeting with friends. You need those experiences and leisure activities in order to start your days fully recharged.
Do not neglect your looks
Spending more time at home does not mean you cannot dress up nicely. On the contrary! We guarantee you will feel much better in your favorite pieces. And do not stop there: top it with makeup and perfume!
Incorporate a beauty routine
Those who already had an at-home skincare routine might be the lucky ones, but do not panic if you only just started incorporating self-care into your life. Create a daily morning- and evening skincare routine and use a body scrub once a week.
Hydrate
We easily forget drinking while sitting at home all the time, but you need to hydrate in order to stay healthy and keep your gorgeous looks. The suggested daily intake is 2.5 - 3 liters of sugar free liquids, and you could also try sipping on a nice cup of hot, decaf tea in the evenings.
Don’t forget to sleep
Stress can cause sleep deprivation, however, it is essential we have eight hours of it each night; it should not be a luxury. A good night of sleep means a productive day ahead!
Exercise whenever possible
Even though gyms are temporarily closed, it does not entitle you to get lazy. Yes, we do workout to stay fit but we also do it to stay healthy. Get familiar with workouts you never tried before, like yoga, speed walking or some light indoor exercises.
