SYNERGY SERUM: THE SECRET OF BEAUTIFUL SKIN IN A LUXURIOUS VIAL

I am obsessed with facial oils, so I can’t even talk about them without bias.

I have big pores and my face is a little oily, but natural plant oils do not oil the surface of your skin. On the contrary! They can treat inflammation and acne, and dry oils absorb in a second, providing your skin with a healthy glow, plumpness and protection.

We are deep in spring and summer will be here in no time, when we usually crave lighter textures and easily absorbing, hydrating moisturizers.

Then why am I preaching about facial oils?

Because they are absolute beasts in protecting the skin’s hydrolipidic layer.

To prevent skin damaging, we need to reinforce the skin’s barrier function, as in balancing the hydrolipidic layer, caring for the epidermis and strengthening its protective function.

The skin’s hydrolipidic layer is a blend of sebum – created by the sebaceous glands – and sweat, which is transferred to the skin surface through sweat ducts. They are joined together by ceramide, which is the skin’s very own emulsifier. Sebum’s most important components are unsaturated fatty acids, wax, was esters, squalane, cholesterol and cholesterol esters; moisturized by hyaluronic acid, amino acids and sweat’s urea.

Nice, healthy skin is soft, plump, elastic, and velvety smooth. Health and appearance is determined by how well it is hydrated. Skin is 70% water, of which 75% is stored in the dermis.

The other skin-hydrating factor is the skin surface layer, which prevents the water stored in your cells from evaporating through the skin.

Invisible water loss - when water evaporates through the skin - is a natural process. However, if the epidermis is unable to protect the skin properly, it will lose more water than intended, which leads to dryness, inflammation and early wrinkles.

The first thing I noticed about MBR® Night oil was how elegant and practical the packaging was. Then I looked at the ingredients, and this one truly is an “oil Canaan”, created with incredible chemical bravura!

Treasures in MBR® Night oil:

  • Chlorella algae extract
    • permanently enhances local microcirculation, making the connective tissues more flexible
    • contains mineral salts and trace elements vital for everyday cell renewal
    • detoxifies tissues and slows down the ageing process
    • locks in moisture and hydrates the skin tissue
    • softens and rejuvenates the skin

  • Squalane
    • helps with the absorption of cosmetics
    • skin softening
    • enhances skin elasticity
    • hydrates, enhances the moisture content in surface- and deep skin layers

  • Jojoba oil
    • originating from South-America, even Aztecs used jojoba as a natural anti-inflammatory. Even though it’s not really an oil but rather a fluid wax, it’s still just as great as all the other base oils. It absorbs fast and deep so it works with all skin types. The chemical composition of jojoba oil is similar to the sebum’s, covering our skin, so it rapidly absorbs and locks in moisture

  • Macadamia oil
    • a light, rapidly absorbing oil similar to human sebum, safe to use even on babies. It’s rich in fatty acids, vitamin A and E, which make your skin beautiful and healthy, while destroys microbes and regenerates cells. It also prevents early skin ageing, and restores the skin structure on a cellular level. Thanks to its high oil acid content, it is also nourishing, skin softening and firming. Plus, it’s an effective deep-cleaning agent

  • Soybean oil
    • a great antioxidant and anti-inflammatory material. Genistein (found in soybean oil) promotes collagen production, while also affects the skin’s elasticity and thickness

  • Algae extract
    • microalgae naturally contains vitamins, minerals, trace elements and fatty acids as bioactive compounds, so our body can utilize them way better
    • enhances blood circulation and the elasticity of connective tissues
    • detoxifies tissues, promotes cell renewal and slows down the ageing process
    • locks in moisture and hydrates the skin
    • skin soothing

  • Lavender oil
    • promotes cell regeneration and improves the skin structure
    • speeds up wound healing process, helps keep eczema at bay, heals hives, psoriasis and acne
    • skin soothing; soothes injuries, redness, sunburn and insect bites
    • anti-inflammatory
  • Chamomile extract
    • chamomile contains a large amount of bisabolol and azulene, which are soothing and anti-inflammatory agents

  • Rosemary extract
    • enhances blood circulation in skin- and deep tissues
    • enhances skin temperature
    • anti-microbial
    • anti-inflammatory
    • antioxidant

Natural plant ingredients work in synergy, reinforcing one another’s effects.

Usage of Night oil:

  • Thoroughly clean your skin
  • Spray with floral water or tonic
  • If you have dry skin, try adding a couple drops of plant oil to your favorite moisturizer or serum. You will instantly see (and feel) the difference! Or, if you prefer, you could tap in a couple drops into your skin after cleaning/toning and before moisturizing

As long as April is so whimsical, you can use it during the day, and build it into your evening routine.

The skin’s regenerating and self-heling processes are most active during nighttime, with faster collagen production, elimination of harmful free radicals and healing cellular damages.

By using the MBR® Night oil, the skin becomes well rested and glowing, and more resistant to daytime damaging factors.

We also use this hydrating, nourishing and beautifying oil blend (rich in minerals and trace elements) for our Guasha FaceFit treatment at the Beautypest Inc. salon.
